ARLINGTON, Va. -- Luxury hotel room rates are too damn high. There are some good weekend deals, though.
A drunk Virginian walked into Pentagon City's Ritz-Carlton hotel at about 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, asking about room rates.
29-year-old Andrew Dziuk became "irate" over the luxury hotel's prices, Patch reports police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck as saying. So much so that he pulled two loaded guns, including a cocked pistol, on a security guard. The guard called the police, who arrested Dziuk.
ARLNow.com reports Sternbeck saying that Dziuk asked for more alcohol, "before pulling out his weapons, but was denied."
Patch reports that the Pentagon City Ritz's standard rate is $599 per night. The website is currently advertising a weekend rate of $149.
