Courtney Love Chants; Lindsay Lohan To Join Her

Courtney Love Chants, Lindsay Lohan To Join Her

Say what? (We mean: Say what say what say what … ) Courtney Love says she chants to keep calm -- and she's bringing other troubled celebrities on board to chant with her. In an interview with "Access Hollywood," Love tells Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, "I chant. You can tell when I'm not doing it, I get in trouble and then [when] I am doing it, I don't get in trouble.

The Hole singer added: "It's really, really good for me. So, that's my religion."

Love's wild, headline-making behavior includes a past addiction to Vicodin and other drug abuse, flashing her nipples in repeated wardrobe malfunctions and sounding off on the sex life of her own daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.

Love isn't selfish about her newfound calming tactics, though -- the 47-year-old also said she's arranged for a group chant with seven women, including Lindsay Lohan.

"She's coming to my house to chant. But I don't speak to her very much. We have a mutual friend. There's like seven women coming to chant on Friday. [It's] a women's group. She's coming to chant, which is good for her," she said.

Love previously made headlines in November 2011 when she claimed to be Lohan's sobriety coach. "[She's] further down the line than I was," Love told Details magazine of the troubled 25-year-old starlet, adding that she was helping "because nobody else will."

Unfortunately for Love, Lohan's rep shot down the rumors, telling E! News; "Courtney Love is not, nor has she ever been, Lindsay's sober coach. Lindsay is, however, grateful for her friendship."
