Fox Cancels Shows 'Breaking In' And 'I Hate My Teenage Daughter' Officially

Fox Officially Cancels Two More Shows

After resisting for some time, Fox has ripped off the band-aid and canceled "Breaking In" and "I Hate My Teenage Daughter."

"Breaking In," a show about an eclectic team of geniuses and thieves who work at a high tech security firm, was initially canceled last May. But "Breaking In" was brought back in August for a second season in hopes that the addition of Megan Mullally would up ratings, but they remained low.

"I Hate My Teenage Daughter," starring Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran, centered on two mothers who worried their daughters are turning into "mean girls." In April, Fox announced that it had been taken off the schedule, with reruns of "Raising Hope" airing in its 8:30 p.m. ET timeslot on Tuesdays. But now, it's gone for good.

The comedies join Fox's "Alcatraz" and "The Finder," whose cancellations were announced today as well.
