The world's most expensive club sandwich isn't found in the ritzy corridors of Moscow or on the yacht-dotted shores of Monaco.
Turns out Paris serves up the most expensive club sandwich, at an average price of more than $33, according to data from Hotels.com.
The travel site, which is better known for its Hotel Price Index than its Club Sandwich Index, says the survey looked at the cost of the lunch item because it appears on menus the world over, which makes ranking a snap. Comparing a $17 sammie in the States to an affordable $11 bite in Buenos Aires is easier than discussing exchange rates and GDPs.
The cheapest club that Hotels.com found? The sandwich costs an average of $9.57 in New Delhi.
