Spookiest US Cemeteries: What's Your Favorite?

We are two weeks into HuffPost Travel's Ultimate Destination Challenge and we've just crowned your most beloved overlooked attraction. North Dakota's own Theodore Roosevelt National Park took home the title by a landslide, leaving West Virginia's stunning Bridgewalk in the dust.

This week we're going over to the dark side and taking a closer look at the spookiest cemeteries in the US. Some of these infamous ending spots have historic clout like Glenwood Cemetery and Deadwood's Mount Moriah, while others are renowned for their strong supernatural atmosphere, like the iconic New Orleans Saint Louis #1.

Vote below for your most revered US cemetery, and leave a comment to tell us why your choice should move on to the next round! Voting on round one ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, May 16th.
Voting for this round has ended. Stay tuned for the next round of the challenge!
