Art School Students Make Giant Chewing Gum Sculpture (PHOTOS)

A Giant Man Made Of Gum?!

Normally sticking your chewed up gum on a sculpture would be a most heinous offense, but there are exceptions to this rule.

MOCO reports that art students from two recently merged Dutch colleges joined forces to create a giant sculpture made with gum. Over 3,000 students from Eindhovense and SintLucas contributed, each taking the unorthodox medium, chewing it up and spitting it out. The piece was made to symbolize the merger of the two schools, and it resembles a victorious man, with two arms raised high. We can't resist: double the art schools, double the flavor, double the fun? The piece will show at the Strijp S festival in the Netherlands this November.
