The 10 Companies Undergrads Want To Work For Most: Report

The jobs market may be changing, but the desires or America's undergraduates are not.

New graduates appear to be entering an improving job market, but that hasn’t changed which companies undergraduates want to work for most, according to a recent survey from employer branding firm Universum. Yes, for the second year in a row, Apple, Google and Walt Disney all count among the top companies that 59,643 respondents were most likely to call the “ideal” employer, Universum found.

Other companies have seen their image improve though. Interest in car companies, for example, has boomed among engineering majors, Businessweek reports. Meanwhile Forbes points out that business majors are still enthusiastic about joining big name firms like JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, despite all the recent negative publicity.

Improving jobs outlook and all, many college graduates will still find it difficult to land a job. Of those under 25 years old and with bachelor degrees, more than half remained underemployed or out of work last year, the largest proportion in over a decade.
