"O’Keefe has a responsibility as a journalist to ensure the veracity of his facts before he makes wild charges like these."
Actually, journalism has a responsibility to police fraud within its profession and stop pretending that O'Keefe's a journalist in the first place.

He's a content provider for an industry of false equivalency and false dichotomy that underlies the  Read More...

This fellow O'Keefe isn't a "Conservative filmmaker", he's a hard-right-wing propagandist liar.

I have NO DOUBT that he knows fully well he's spreading false information - and that's called lying.

Slander. He claimed that at least two people broke the law when they voted.

You gotta kinda feel sorry for the kid desperately trying to prove that the fairy tales, myths, and lies he's been spoon fed by Rush and Fox News all his life are true.

Naaah, I don't really feel sorry for him. The kid's a punnk.

What's wrong with O'Keefe's face? It's sort of twisted. Split personality?

Dear Friends,

We had more votes counted in King County WA than we had voters in an election, friends of mine in WI would have to vote before work, otherwise somebody would vote for them during work.

We have lots of voter fraud, and most of it by Democrats. I am sure we have some by Republicans, but all the cases that have gone to court in the last 10 years are by left leaning groups, or support left causes.

As a fellow WA voter, I'm more than aware of the problems we have here.

Total absolute nonsense. There is almost NO voter "fraud" but rampant voter suppression.
According to the Brennan Center for Justice: “The "voter fraud" cry has been increasingly used to justify policies that suppress legitimate voters. But the cry is baseless; allegations of voter fraud—especially polling place impersonation fraud—almost always prove to be inflated or inaccurate. The Brennan Center carefully examines allegations of fraud to get at the truth behind the claims. The truth of the matter is that voter fraud—votes knowingly cast by ineligible individuals—is exceedingly rare; one is more likely to be struck by lightning than to commit voter fraud.”

There was no fail in exposing the flaws! There was no claim of folks not being citizens! Please watch and listen to the video. It was clearly stated that the individuals in question were not U.S. citizens, and here's the key, not citizens "according to jury refusal records (forms)." In one instance, the individual was actually classified by the state as being "code 7," that is, a non-citizen. So where's the fail?
This project demonstrates just how easy it is for someone to defraud the system. Indeed, as a result of the video the state is now investigating. Several at UNC have already had action taken against them for the way they acted/responded.
11:38 AM on 05/17/2012
By "defraud the system," I presume you mean "Present propaganda as fact and have state legislators buy into it, hook, line, and sinker"?

Fact is, the states ROUTINELY make clerical errors, because they can't always afford to hire the best talent. And then the states don't admit to making a mistake, even when the proof is shown plainly in front of them.

Thus, even if the state showed Gorzkowski as a non-citizen due to a clerical error, it doesn't matter...because he is a legitimate US citizen, regardless of how many erred state forms you cite. Therefore, the insistence on Voter ID cards (issued by the very state that is making the numerous clerical errors) is undermined by this video showing how a legitimate citizen could potentially be barred from voting because of the state screwing up.

Let's stay focused........
The spin is that this project was a fail, that the claimed non-citizens were actually citizens. What is being ignored is the fact that Project Veritas never made that claim. Again, it was stated that they were not citizens "according to jury refusal records." Why is that very important fact being left out, leaving folks to believe that O'Keefe got it wrong? He didn't!
By the way, it is a crime to avoid jury duty by providing false information. Doesn't that bother you? Who could possibly support the advice given by the UNC staffer?
