'Toddlers & Tiaras': Damitri'ana Represents Africa In 'America's Genuine Jewel' Pageant (VIDEO)

'Toddlers & Tiaras': Damitri'ana Wears 'African' National Costume

On "Toddlers & Tiaras" (Wed, 10 p.m. ET on TLC) Wednesday night the contestants faced-off in the "America's Genuine Jewel" pageant.

The theme was "All Around The World," so the girls picked a country to represent before donning national costume for the "World Wear Competition."

Eight-year-old Damitri'ana chose Africa as her country, and she was confident: "I'm gonna do Africa proud."

However, Damitri'ana's make up artist may also have been confused by the challenge, as she was aiming for a "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" look.

Later, Damitri’ana’s mom Quiana defended the historical accuracy of her daughter's costume. "It does have feathers," she said, "and in Africa that's what they wore if you watch 'History!'"

The questionable parenting choices continue on "Toddlers & Tiaras," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
