Valtari Hour: Sigur Ros Will Stream New Album In Full At 7 Tonight

Sigur Ros's Global Listening Party

Sigur Ros is letting their "avalanche in slow motion" loose this evening. The Icelandic band, known for building an air of mystery around their releases, will play their new album, Valtari in full in the seven-o-clock hour. "Valtari Hour," as it's been dubbed, has already come and gone in New Zealand, Fiji, Tuvalu, Japan and Indonesia. Our favorite Twitter reaction so far:

I love it. It was slightly beautiful. #valtarihour

Tune in here at 7 p.m. CST and share your thoughts with us @HuffPostCulture using the hashtag #valtarihour.

For now, we wait, and spin "Ekki Mukk" on repeat:

Valtari is out on May 28.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post stated that the Valtari Hour would begin at 7 p.m. EST. In fact, it began at 7 p.m. CST.
