How High Or Low Can You Go?

Posted: Updated:

If you're anything like us, at some point in your life you've been overcome with an uncontrollable urge to sing the highest or lowest note you can. If you're even more like us, you've done this in the privacy of your car or shower.

Now, we're not just here to share embarrassing secrets. We're curious. How high can one possibly go? And how low? Shouldn't there be some sort of forum to seek out those who can go higher and lower than the rest?

To that end, we're using the ultimate equalizer -- the Internet -- as our moderator in what we're going ahead and calling the Olympics of vocal skill. To kick things off, we've invited a couple of experts to show us how it's done. Musical theater composer Carmel Dean (follow her Song Blog here) and mezzo soprano Jennifer Rivera are on hand to demonstrate their highest highs and lowest lows -- and we want to hear from you, too.

Can you match Carmel and Jennifer's notes? Give us your highs and your lows, and if you can't match Jennifer or Carmel, show us what you've got. Belt it out like no one's watching.
