With Aurelie Saada and Sylvie Hoarau, we got a two-for-one deal. The singing duo, who together form the French music group Brigitte, stood out at Cannes today as the best-dressed stars on the carpet. One glimpse at Aurelie's vintage-glam fur and Sylvie's Iris Apfel-esque glasses and we knew we had to find out who these ladies were.
So we investigated and simply put, they are some damn cool girls. Aurelie is a boho Gisele, wearing ponchos and floral headbands and fedoras with no irony and not a care in the world. Sylvie's a hipster Velma (from "Scooby Doo," obvi) in clashing plaid and bright bottoms. They sang at the Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 show and they sat front row at the Spring 2012 haute couture shows in Paris. They are awesome.
Check out our new French girl crushes -- do you love Brigitte's style or is it too over-the-top?
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly used Aurélie's former last name, Maggiori. As she is now divorced, she now goes by Aurélie Saada. We regret the error.
