Peyton Manning's First Pass In Broncos Jersey (VIDEO)

WATCH: Peyton Manning's First Passes With Broncos

Today's OTA practice marked the first time Petyon Manning, sporting a Broncos jersey, has thrown in front of the media.

Speculation on Manning's throwing form has run rampant after the decorated quarterback was forced to sit out last season due to a lingering nerve injury. The injury caused significant weakness in his throwing arm, leading to concern his free-agency hype and oversize price-tag may have been unjustified.

The Associated Press reports Manning ran the offensive practice, lining up receivers, running backs and even fellow quarterbacks during the Broncos' workout Monday. According to the report, there's "plenty of zip" on his throws.

Amid high anticipation, avid Denver sports-tweeter SouthStands303 summed up the situation:

"It felt good to be out there. I haven't really been out there like this for a year and a half. It's a day I've been waiting on for a long time," said Manning to the Denver Post after practice.

Broncos coach John Fox added, "He's getting better every day. His progress has been outstanding. We're excited where he is. I think he's pretty good right now, and we think he'll get better."
