'Dark Knight Rises' Posters: Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway & Tom Hardy Strike A Pose (PHOTOS)

LOOK: Seven New 'Dark Knight Rises' Posters

"Rise" proclaim the U.S. character posters for "The Dark Knight Rises." The new artwork -- featuring individual shots of Batman (Christian Bale), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy) -- debuted online on Tuesday, alongside three international posters for the famed characters.

The differences? The U.S. prints are darker -- literally. The American posters also use a different tagline for the highly anticipated summer blockbuster: "The Legend Ends."

Directed by Christopher Nolan, "The Dark Knight Rises" is still cloaked in much secrecy, something Hardy isn't planning to change. In a new interview with GQ.com, the actor remained decidedly mum on the Batman finale.

"I'm not saying anything else," Hardy said after allowing that it was "easy" to work with Nolan. "I can't tell you anything about Batman. You know the score, you know the score. Don't f--k with it."

Check out the new marketing campaign below. "The Dark Knight Rises" is out in theaters on July 20.
