I meditate every day for about 20 minutes, so that prevents a lot of anxiety that probably would have come up if I didn't have that practice in place. 20 minutes can sound like a long time, I know; but I didn't start out doing it for that long. As with all personal growth I've undertaken, I leaned into meditation gradually. I started out doing a mini-meditation for about 5 minutes at a time, usually in the morning to start my day off in a powerful direction. You can do anything for 5 minutes, and before you know it, the healthy habit is formed! Here's a recording of one (I shift meditations regularly, according to what I'm trying to accomplish in my life at the time); just close your eyes and follow along!
