Teen Choice Awards Nominees: 'Hunger Games,' Adele and Justin Bieber Lead The Pack

Surf's Up! Teen Choice Award Nominations Announced

We got our hands on the list of Teen Choice Awards nominees, which means it's time to start guessing: Which movies, songs, and celebrities will come out on top?

This year, the nominations are completely dominated by 2012's biggest blockbuster series, "The Hunger Games" and "Twilight." Both movies are pitted against each other for the Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy award, and we're pretending that this could be a fight to the death.

"Twilight" fans are no stranger to the ongoing Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate, and the Teen Choice Awards might finally put the question to rest -- both Robert Pattinson, who recently celebrated his 26th birthday and Taylor Lautner are nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for their roles in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1." (Twihards, look out for "Breaking Dawn, Part 2," the fifth and final movie in the series, when it hits theaters November 16!)

Over on Team Peeta, Josh Hutcherson is also nominated for the same award for his roles in "The Hunger Games" and "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island." And on the ladies' side, Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart are in competition for Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Beautiful brunettes Lucy Hale ("Pretty Little Liars") and Leighton Meester ("Gossip Girl") are both nominated for Choice TV Actress: Drama, as are their on-screen love interests, Ian Harding ("Pretty Little Liars"), Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick ("Gossip Girl"). Which secret-filled drama will have the final word? No matter who wins, we hope Lucy brings her off-screen boyfriend, "The Secret Circle" star Chris Zylka, to the red carpet. Talk about a sweet couple.

But some of the hottest shows on television are the ones that make us laugh with -- or sometimes at -- the characters on screen. "Glee," "Modern Family," and "New Girl" are all up for Choice TV Show: Comedy.

In terms of music, Choice Female Artist looks like it could be anyone's game: pop heavyweights Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Adele and Taylor Swift were all nominated. Our prediction is for Adele: The British songstress Adele took home Top Artist from the Billboard Music Awards this past weekend (the same event to which Katy Perry brought her grandmother)!

For for Choice Single by a Male Artist, "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida is in competition with Justin Bieber's hit single "Boyfriend." Until the awards, Beliebers can get their fix by checking out the album track list for "Believe," which was released this weekend.

Take a look at the full list of nominees on Teen.com. Although the TCAs don't air until July 22 on FOX, voting begins today at TeenChoiceAwards.com.
