Fantasia Barrino Graces 'American Idol' Finale With Her Bedazzled Presence (PHOTOS)

We hadn't heard from Fantasia Barrino in a while (not since her "the father of my child is still married to his ex" storyline, at least). But the "American Idol" alum made a splashy return last night, gracing the stage of the live "American Idol" finale.

For the red carpet, Fantasia waded into the dangerous nip-slip territory in a purple sequined evening gown with a plunging neckline cutting across her chest. Not the most flattering look we've ever seen, but we'll give it a pass.

What really stole the show, however, was Fantasia's on-stage outfit: a high-slit jumpsuit. Fantasia's onesie covered her entire body in black and red glitter from neck to ankle, save for her legs, which were exposed to the world with wide-open slits up each side.

Many a celeb has rocked the high-slit dress lately, but we have never seen anything like this. Covered-up and revealing at the same time, the high-slit jumpsuit is a wonder of a garment... although we're curious why if you wanted to bare your legs in a onesie, you wouldn't just wear a romper.

I don't like how her boobs look in that purple dress. They looked stuffed in the dress. Very unflattering. Does she have a stylist? I think the black outfit was fine.

I thought she looked like James Earl Jones in Conan the Barbarian. Not flattering for a heavy set person like herself. More disturbing though was he complete lack of talent. She sings like she is in full labor. I think she needs a stylist as well as a singing coach.

She needs a complete overhaul. If she's comfortable the size she is, then that's ok. But come on - there is a way to dress and compliment the way you look. This is not the way. I personally am not a Fantasia fan - can't stand the way she sings or looks. But, I wonder if she actually tried to look like a star, maybe I'd give her a shot? I look at her and instantly think 'joke', so I don't care and turn away. She needs someone to be honest with her and truly turn her style around. It's a sad thing here.

Hope she got a discount on that sequined dress since the pattern does't match up. I'm a novice at sewing but even I know you need to make sure patterns match up so you don't end up with a mess like the one she is wearing...

She needs a stylist that will tell her the truth. Confidence is wonderful - don't get me wrong...but Fantasia is a bigger girl now...one piece outfits like that will reveal the best..AND the worst. Just..no.
