John Ramsey became old enough to buy a Carlsberg nine months ago. The 21-year-old college student from east Texas isn’t old enough to serve in Congress. His intellectual role model, U.S. Texas Representative Ron Paul, has been in Congress 22 years -- longer than Ramsey has been alive.

I chose my micro bio to be a conversation starter with liberal know-nothings, and it has not disappointed. In a perfect world, hundreds (thousands?) of these individuals would respond to one of my posts and I would debunk as many as time permits. I consider it a public service.

You know, I can count on one hand the liberals who've actually owned up to some of the economic truths that I've put out there, but it's an uphill battle. E.g., when talking about debt, I frequently state that wealth is created by producing more than one consumes and saving or investing the difference. It's simply a statement of fact, and yet one would be amazed at the squeals of protest it elicits.

On the other hand, I've had a number of very fruitful exchanges that started out quite heated - plenty of snark - and ended with the admission that there could be a kernel of truth to what I've said. So I guess I consider it progress, if not quite a transformation.

Dick 'deficits don't matter' Cheney is a profligate along with our current failure-in-chief. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...it must be a duck. Cheney, like Obama, is as far from the mold of a fiscal or monetary conservative as one is likely to get.
