Vatican Detains Person With Documents In 'Vatileaks' Scandal

VATICAN CITY, May 25 (Reuters) - The Vatican, which has been embroiled for months in a scandal involving the leak of secret papers, said on Friday its police had detained a person in possession of confidential documents.

The person was being questioned by Vatican magistrates, a statement said but gave no details. A Vatican source said the person was not a prelate. (Reporting By Philip Pullella)
