WATCH: Kids Cheer On Boy With Cerebral Palsy

Sometimes all we need is a little confidence boost.

And for one boy with spastic cerebral palsy, a few cheers from students and teachers made all the difference as he pushed himself to finish a field day race.

Matt W. opted to run in the 400 meter event at Ohio's Colonial Hills Elementary School despite being given the option to sit out, according to the video's description on YouTube.

During the last few moments of his lap, children crowded around the boy, walked alongside him and chanted "Let's go, Matt! Let's go!"

Once Matt crossed the finish line, he was greeted with cheers, congratulations and plenty of high-fives from ecstatic supporters.

The heartwarming video has garnered more than 10,000 views since it was first posted to YouTube on May 27. In addition, the clip has been featured on several websites including Reddit, the Daily What, and several local news stations.

Way to go, Matt!
