'Deadliest Catch': Crews Battle Hurricane-Force Winds On Last Day Of King Crab Season (VIDEO)

Arctic Hurricane On 'Deadliest Catch'

On "Deadliest Catch" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on Discovery), the crews of the fishing boats plying the Bering Sea for Alaskan king crab were forced to battle the harsh elements once again.

The crew of the Wizard were closing out a tough king crab season when they got a weather forecast all fishermen dread. Captain Keith Colburn related the bad news: "They’re saying hurricane-force winds and threats to human life."

Over on the Northwestern, deckhand Nick Mavar said, "I’m actually really hating it. I’m hating my life right now. This sucks."

For his part, Captain Scott Campbell, Jr. of the Seabrooke said, "I think that’s the most nervous I’ve ever been running this boat. Ever."

Correction: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated that Tuesday night's "Deadliest Catch" episode was the Season 8 finale. The season finale is actually on July 24.

"Deadliest Catch" airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery.
