After years of wondering why West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, and even Sanford and Altamonte Springs were awarded H&M stores before Miami -- we're still wondering, actually -- 305 shoppers will finally realize the dream: the popular trends-driven Swedish retailer has just announced that a summer-centric pop-up store will open Friday at noon on Lincoln Road.
Of course, that doesn't give dedicated shoppers time to sharpen elbows and dig out their camping gear, but here's guessing they'll make the effort. The 3,380-square foot shop will serve as a preview of what’s to come in Septempber when H&M opens its flagship store at the historic Lincoln Theatre this fall: the pop-up will carry men's and women's summer fashion and accessories in both fashion-forward styles and basics, from swimwear starting at $4.95 to dresses from $12.95, summer tanks starting at $4.95, and shorts for $12.95.
“With the exciting grand opening of our flagship store right around the corner, we are thrilled to offer Miami consumers a sneak peak of what’s to come just in time for the summer,” said Daniel Kulle, U.S. president for H&M, in a statement. “The opening of the H&M Miami pop-up shop signifies the beginning of a strong relationship between H&M and Miami shoppers.”
Indeed, if the giddy fashionistas in our Facebook feed are any indication. Details, and good luck:
