Todd Frazier Performs Heimlich Manuever To Save Man's Life After Reds-Pirates Game

It's only Wednesday and Cincinnati's Todd Frazier has already had a very eventful week. So much so that the Twitterverse is running wild with #ToddFrazierFacts.

Shortly after Monday's matinee game against the Pirates, Frazier and left fielder Ryan Ludwick were eating dinner at restaurant in downtown Pittsburgh when a man across the room began choking.

Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reported that Frazier ran over and used the Heimlich Maneuver to save the man's life.

"[Ludwick] said get over there because I was the closest one," said Frazier, who somehow managed to hit a home run despite losing the grip on his bat during the Reds' 7-5 win on Sunday. "So I went over there and was yelling at them to get out of the way. They did and I gave two pumps and it came out."

"It" turned out to be a piece of steak.

Frazier had to answer some more questions about the incident after his two hits and two RBI in Tuesday night's 8-1 victory.

"The lady he was with was crying, and it was like surreal. Never done it before in my life," he said.
