Civic Center Eats Returns June 5th For Denver's Biggest Congregation Of Food Trucks Every Tuesday, Thursday

That rumbling you hear is not the sound of your empty stomach (though admittedly it may be a component); no, it's the sound of nearly 50 Denver food trucks stampeding toward this year's launch of Civic Center Eats.

The twice-weekly gathering of food trucks (most Tuesdays and Thursdays) at Civic Center Park kicks off Tuesday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m.; trucks will remain in the park until 2:00 p.m. A quick glance at attending trucks reveals Asian, BBQ/Sausage, Greek, Latin, Pizza, Sandwich/Salad, Dessert, drink options, and other eclectic affair.

View a full list of food trucks and their Tuesday/Thursday schedules on the Civic Center website. The trucks will congregate Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer until September 29.

According to a press release, on Wednesdays the park will now host one to four food trucks for a "Hump Day Café."

Correction: An earlier version of this story indicated several food trucks would also be in Civic Center Park on Mondays and Fridays. That schedule existed through part of 2011 but will not be repeated in 2012.
