Older Americans Month: Never Too Old To...

PHOTOS: You're Never Too Old To...

Older Americans month ends today, an annual celebration launched in 1963 that honors older people for all they do for their families, communities and society. According to the federal Administration on Aging, nearly 40 million people in the U.S. were 65 and older in 2009 -- about 12 percent of the population. That figure will rise to 19 percent in 2030.

In honor of Older Americans Month, the Ohio Department of Aging sponsored a photo project, asking people to complete the line "never too old to..." They shared the results with Huff/Post50.
