Chicago's Priciest Condo: $32 Million Ask For Trump Tower Penthouse (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Could This Penthouse Be Chicago's Priciest Property Ever?

Donald Trump is famous for living his life in extremes, a quality that extends to his many projects.

So it should come as no surprise that when the penthouse of Trump Tower in Chicago was listed this week, it came with a superlative price tag.

At $32 million for 14,260 square feet (that's $2,244 per foot), the 89th floor single-family condo is unfinished, but provides a stellar backdrop for customized opulence.

The penthouse features five bedrooms, eight baths, and 16-foot high windows that offer a 360-degree view of the city and lake, according to the Coldwell Banker listing.

The multi-million dollar price tag pummels the Chicago area's previous record for real estate prices, doubling the highest recorded sale in Lake Bluff, Ill., in 2007, according to Curbed Chicago. The only other contender even close to this price range is Michael Jordan's Highland Park home, which was listed at $29 million in February.

Check out photos of the condo below. Do you think this space is worth the splurge? Tell us in the comments.
