President Obama has announced plans to visit construction at One World Trade Center on June 14th for Flag Day.

In April, One World Trade Center surpassed the Empire State Building as the tallest building in New York City.

It could be considered the tallest in the country upon completion. Port Authority's decision, however, to change the building's chief architect's original mast design could cause the building to come in second.

The president will also be attending a fundraising event hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker at her Manhattan home during his trip to the Big Aplle.

The First Lady will also be present at the event, titled "A New York Night."

Earlier this month, Obama visited Albany, where he praised Governor Cuomo for his "extraordinary leadership." Cuomo returned the high praise and said, "Your leadership has brought this nation through the storm, and we thank you."
