WATCH: Colbert Mocks Obama's Casualty Standards

It recently came to Stephen Colbert's attention that the number of civilians killed in drone strikes during the Obama administration is "in the single digits." Sounds pretty awesome, right?

But after doing a little digging, it also turns out that there's a very strict definition for what a civilian actually is. Colbert found out that young men of enlisting age standing near or around Al Qaeda members during the time of a strike are considered accomplices, meaning that more civilians have probably died, but they're just not being counted in the stats.

So for Thursday night's "Word," Stephen outlined how that sneaky number-crunching could actually work to our advantage in more places than just Pakistan. Take Gitmo, for instance. The possibilities are truly endless.
