Over the weekend, nearly 200 artists descended upon Larimer Square again for the 10th annual Denver Chalk Art Festival to draw their particular brand of colorful, sometimes surreal and often three-dimensional art and the results were as stunning as ever.

Using street pavement as their canvas, student, amateur and professional artists covered four blocks in pastel chalk over the course of two days and then the best of the bunch were selected for awards in various categories including Best 3-D, Best Reproduction of a Master's Work, Most Whimsical, Best Use of Color and, of course, Best in Show.

Denver artist Drew Kesinger's piece won the coveted Best In Show award and Lance Leber, another Denver artist, won in the Best 3-D category.
