Glenn Beck railed against Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour after the release of a new ad for the Obama campaign on Monday.
Wintour starred in an ad for Sarah Jessica Parker's upcoming fundraising dinner for President Obama. Beck used the spot to call his campaign "off-the-rails" and "out of touch," questioning how Obama could claim that he stands for the working class.
After replaying the ad on Monday, he mocked Wintour's way of speaking. Beck put on an aristocratic accent and attempted to imitate Wintour saying "Mee-chelle Obahhma."
"She's not from a foreign country, she's an American," he complained. In fact, Wintour is British.
Then, Beck turned to "The Devil Wears Prada" — the popular film adaptation of a book by one of Wintour's former assistants — to lambast her character.
"She was the devil part," he said. "She was the person who was actually in the movie treating her co-workers... like garbage, waiting on her every whim. She is what [Obama] says capitalists are like all the time. She is everything she says the Republicans are and she's an Obama supporter."
Later, Beck tried to imitate Wintour again. In an aristocratic accent, he said, "I'm saving the best seat for you. Actually, I'm lying. You're gonna get a crumbum seat because you're part of the people."
