Celtics, Heat Tie Game 4? WMTW's Meghan Torjussen Incorrectly Reports Score (VIDEO)

WATCH: Reporter FAIL Says Game 4 Ended A Tie

Viewers tuning in for the evening news in Portland, Maine on Sunday may have been surprised to learn that Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals ended in a tie between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.

WMTW local news anchor Meghan Torjussen incorrectly reported an 89-89 draw between Boston and Miami.

"I guess the game just ended; it ended in a tie. This is what my producer is telling me right now," Torjussen told viewers. "It ended in a tie."

For those who depend on WMTW for their sports news, please note that the Celtics actually won the game in overtime, 93-90. Also, the NBA does not end games if the score is tied after four quarters.

Of course, she isn't the first to record a reporter fail. Maybe Torjussen is simply a soccer fan. That would explain the "tie."
