Leave predicting the outcomes of soccer games to the octopuses (and elephants and pigs). If you want to see an animal actually play you soccer then it's apparently time to call in the whales.

Getty Images snapped these images of a pair of beluga whales swimming around with a soccer ball at the Beijing Aquarium. These photos were snapped on May 30th, per the captions provided by Getty.

Discover News writes that the endangered beluga whales are quite social creatures and would likely have begun to play as soon as the ball was dropped into their tank.

According to Frommer's, the Beijing Aquarium is billed as "the world's largest inland aquarium."
