Whether or not Heat power forward Chris Bosh will play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals Tuesday night, the ball player and his family have more weighty events on their mind.

A masseuse collapsed at Bosh's house in Miami Beach Monday morning and was shortly pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital, according to Miami Beach Police.

According to a case report obtained by Local 10, the massage therapist appeared to "well and in good spirits" when she suddenly lost consciousness. The report said the woman was at the home to render services, but did not say to whom or indicate who was present at the house at the time.

The official cause of death has not been released, although a friend told police the woman had been battling cancer a year ago.

Bosh's wife Adrienne tweeted about the mysterious death, saying:

In March, Bosh did not travel with his team to play the Utah Jazz following the death of his grandmother.

Last evening, a massage therapist that we have used for some time, arrived at our home to provide massage therapy." Shortly after she arrived, she fainted and lost consciousness. We called 911 and emergency personnel arrived at our home shortly thereafter. They took her to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she passed away. Our hearts go out to her family. We are very sorry for their loss.

UPDATE 2: Police have identified the masseuse as Chautele Cooksey, 41, of Kendall.
