'Gene Simmons Family Jewels': Gene And Shannon Explore The Possibility Of Adoption (VIDEO)

'Gene Simmons Family Jewels': Is Adoption In The Future?

In the season premiere of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" (Mon., 9 p.m. ET on A&E), Shannon Tweed was alone in her desire to see her and Gene adopt.

By the time this week's second and third installments came along, Gene seemed to be changing his mind. That said, he also admitted that he was against both of his children and his marriage before they happened, but that now, he's happy with all three developments. So maybe he just resists change.

Both parents were surprised by the negative reaction of their children, considering that both Nick and Sophie are adults now. Nick struggled with his own uncertainties about his future, and the fact that at the same time they're exploring bringing another kid into their home, they're kind of pushing him out of it.

While Gene never really opened up about his feelings and thoughts on the matter throughout the episode, despite virtually everyone trying to get him to do so, he did take to Twitter to admit that, "I was not 100% on board with adoption but I want Shannon to have everything she ever wanted." But is he on board now, or is he just pacifying his wife?

Fans will just have to keep tuning in to "Gene Simmons Family Jewels," Mondays at 9 p.m ET on A&E to find out.
