The Democratic New 'Lego Art Movement'

You can make anything with a pile of Legos. Kids have known that for decades, and according to PBS, artists are now catching on. The channel's online documentary series, "Off-Book," recently profiled three stars of the "Lego art movement": Lego portraitist Sean Kenney, filmmaker Alex Kobbs, who works in the superviral genre of stop-motion Lego reenactments, and Nathan Sawaya, a Lego sculptor. The works featured are definitely impressive, and as the artists keep pointing out, probably effective at luring in an audience normally resistant to museums. Check out the full episode below.
