Scott Walker: Vote For Me Because Ronald Reagan Died Eight Years Ago

Via Twitter, here is what I gather is Governor Scott Walker's "closing argument:"

As a retweeter points out, this is the same Ronald Reagan who said, "Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost," so it's not a particularly convincing argument, as it turns out.

Meanwhile, Reagan's widow, Nancy Reagan, marked the occasion with the solemnity it deserves.

If Walker can't stand up on his own ... without having to quote people from the past -- he's not worth listening to or voting for anyway. Sure wish I still lived in Wisconsin because I would have gone door to door asking for votes for anyone against Walker. I worked for a union and was proud of it!!! And, today I believe people allllll across this country should join forces -- in their own work areas -- and unionize!!! With our businesses and governments now being owned and run by only wealthy bureaucrats, those individuals not "in that world" will be used and abused just like the women and slaves of the past. Yes -- our country IS going backward!!

It is a bit creepy. But the issue is that the govvies have to carry some of their own weight. Currently they're paid 20% or more of what the private industry makes in WI. And they pay nothing, zilch, of their healthcare. It simply cannot continue. They must wake up from their unionized slumber.
