'Houston We Have A Problem' Mash Up: 'Apollo 13', 'Austin Powers' And More (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

'Houston, we have a problem' is a one-liner that has stuck; the phrase is ingrained in our vernacular just like "Here's looking at you, kid" or "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."

The line is credited to Captain James Lovell who aboard the US's Apollo 13 moon flight reported a problem to their base in Houston on April 14th, 1970. The astronaut originally said "Houston, we've had a problem." The line was changed to 'Houston, we have a problem' in the 1995 film Apollo 13.

Since the film was released, the line has become a permanent part of pop culure. Check out our mash up and cinematic salute to Apollo 13 in the video above.
