Aurora, an arctic fox at Minnesota's Como Zoo, gave birth to nine puppies, or kits, over the weekend, WCCO-TV reports.
The puppies, each of which weighed between 1.8 and 2.2 ounces at birth, are still too young to yet be on display. For the time being, they're resting with their mother and father, Zephyr, who's been "proudly frolicking" following the birth of his pups, according to the zoo's website.
Lately, zoos everywhere have been welcoming new additions. Just last month, SeaWorld Orlando celebrated the birth of a baby Caribbean flamingo. While the fluffy chick is currently being cared for off-site, it'll be back at the zoo with its sibling and parents soon.
