Taylor Swift Refuses To Comment On John Mayer's 'Rolling Stone' Slam

Looks like John Mayer can dish it, but he can't take it.

The singer, who is notorious for publicly blabbing about his famous girlfriends, recently told Rolling Stone that he was "really humiliated" when he heard ex-flame Taylor Swift's 2010 revenge song "Dear John." But if he's expecting an apology from the young singer, he's going to have to wait a long time.

"Taylor has never confirmed the song was about John and never will," a friend of Taylor's tells me. "Although it is a little strange after all the things he has said about Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston, that now we are meant to feel sorry for him because a song had the same name as his in it."

But the 34-year-old seems to be pretty certain that he is, in fact, the "John" in question.

"It made me feel terrible," John told the magazine. "Because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do."

"Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don't you think 19 is too young to be played with? / Your dark twisted games when I loved you so / I should've known," she sang on the track. "Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone / Don't you think I was too young to be messed with? / The girl in the dress cried the whole way home."

A spokesperson for Taylor confirmed she would not be commenting on John's remarks.
