'Cajun Justice' Premiere: Officers Tackle A Drug Dealer And An Alligator

On the series premiere of "Cajun Justice" (Thu., 10 p.m. ET on A&E), viewers were introduced to Vernon Bourgeois, Jr., the crime-fighting sheriff of Terrebonne Parish, La.

While hunting down an alleged drug dealer -- named Jesse James, no less -- Sheriff Bourgeois and his officers also had to tackle a large alligator.

They'd tracked James to a house in the swamp and as he prepared to leap out of the window they were warily eyeing a gator sitting by the house.

Eventually they got their man and their gator: as the officers hauled James away, the Alligator Nuisance Men took care of the critter.

Follow the adventures of Sheriff Bourgeois and his team on "Cajun Justice," Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on A&E.
