Anthony Bourdain Films 'No Reservations' Finale In Brooklyn

Sneak Peak At Anthony Bourdain's Brooklyn Finale

As Anthony Bourdain gears up to take his culinary adventures to CNN, the host is wrapping up his final episode of "No Reservations" for the Travel Channel with a tour of eight Brooklyn restaurants.

Bourdain was spotted feasting at several hidden gems throughout the borough last week with "The Wire's" Michael K. Williams and Jamie Hector who accompanied the host for the finale.

One stop included Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli in Sheesphead Bay, where owner Jay Stern revealed Bourdain chowed on 'brisket, chopped liver, pastrami, corned beef — samplings of a lot of different things."

In an interview with The Daily News, Bourdain had some high praises for Brooklyn:

Brooklyn is the nexus where everything is going on right now. Brooklyn is a melting pot. There are traditional Jewish delis. Caribbeans are a huge part of the culture.

As for Bourdain's CNN gig, the new show will be launching early 2013 and "shot on location and examine cultures from around the world through their food and dining and travel rituals."

All eight haunts will be revealed when the episode airs sometime next year, but we have a sneak peak at Bourdain's Brooklyn picks below. Visit them before they get the Bourdain bump in popularity!
