This Tuesday, the TBS Just For Laughs Chicago festival begins, offering just less than a week of knee-slappin' comedy showcases featuring talent ranging from Hollywood A-Listers to local up-and-comers.

The festivities actually get underway Monday with the first taping of the first of four Conan O'Brien episodes at the Chicago Theatre downtown. Guests will include Andy Samberg, Adam Sandler, Johnny Galecki and Jack McBrayer. While the (free!) ticket lottery has already come and gone, standby tickets are still available.

Meanwhile, funny guys and gals including Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari, Marc Maron, Amy Schumer, T. J. Miller and more will be taking over the city with a barrage of showcases throughout the city through Sunday evening.

We picked out some of our most anticipated showcases below -- what did we miss?

  • Kyle Kinane

Addison, Ill.-born Kinane will bring the laughs Tuesday, June 12 (10:30 p.m.) at UP Comedy Club (230 W. North Ave.) and will open for Janeane Garofalo Wednesday, June 13 (11 p.m.) at the same venue.

  • James Fritz

Another local Chicago pick, Fritz will be on stage Tuesday, June 12 (8 p.m.) at the Beat Kitchen (2100 W. Belmont Ave.) and Thursday, June 14 (9 p.m.) at the Comedy Bar (157 W. Ontario St.).

  • Janeane Garofalo

Garofalo will take the stage Wednesday, June 13 (11 p.m.) at UP Comedy Club (230 W. North Ave.).

  • James Adomian

Adomian (of "Comedy Bang Bang" fame) is featured in two shows during JFL: Thursday, June 14 (9 p.m.) at The Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia Ave.), as former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura, and Friday, June 15 (7:30 p.m.) at the Comedy Bar (157 W. Ontario St.), as himself (presumably).

  • Patton Oswalt

"Young Adult" star Oswalt headlines a two-show engagement at the Vic Theatre (3145 N. Sheffield Ave.) on Thursday, June 14 (7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.). Consider this another likely sell-out, so in case you don't yet have tickets -- you might want to get moving.

  • Sarah Silverman

Silverman returns to Chicago to host a killer lineup of her "Pro-Choice" pals: Marc Maron, Natasha Leggero, Reggie Watts and Kyle Dunnigan. Saturday, June 16 (7:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m.) at the Chicago Theatre (175 N. State St.).

  • Natasha Leggero

In case Silverman's showcase sells out (which likely will be the case), Leggero will also be at The Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia Ave.) on Friday, June 15 (11 p.m.)

  • Nick Offerman

Offerman, whose acting chops have deep Chicago roots, will perform his one-man "American Ham" show twice during JFL. Saturday, June 16 (7:30 p.m., 11 p.m.) at the Vic Theatre (3145 N. Sheffield Ave.) Best known for his stoic, mustachioed libertarian Ron Swanson character on "Parks and Recreation," we're anxious to see what Offerman brings to the stage out of that iconic character.
