Mario Lopez Will Not Be Appearing On 'Dancing With The Stars: All Stars'

Mario Lopez Will Not Be On 'DWTS: All Stars'

If you were excited to see Mario Lopez bust a few moves on "Dancing With The Stars: All Stars," you're going to be disappointed.

In April, the TV host and "DWTS" alum may have let a few too many details slip on "Live! With Kelly." "You know what, Kelly? They're doing 'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars' next season," Lopez said. "They called me to do it."

But Lopez's enthusiasm dissipated quickly: He now claims to be unattached to the next chapter of the ABC dancing competition show. "I'm really busy, so I don't think I'll be able to do it," Lopez told TV Guide Magazine. "I don't watch the show and didn't even watch when I was on it. My mom wanted me to do it."

Lopez or not, ABC confirmed that "DWTS: All Stars" was in the works in May. "We can't talk about the casting yet, but I'd love to see some of the fan favorites from the past seasons come back," ABC's entertainment president Paul Lee told reporters.
