The 'Sister Wives' Worry Their Children May Reject Polygamist Lifestyle

Kody Brown and his "Sister Wives" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on TLC) have long faced a barrage of criticism for the way they choose to live their lives.

On the latest episode they were trying to come to terms with the idea that their children might not grow up to share their beliefs in the polygamous lifestyle, as practiced by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. While The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has officially rejected polygamy, the Brown family openly continues with the practice.

"I've told my children, for quite a long time, that you choose your faith," said Kody. "It's gonna break my heart when they don't choose mine."

For her part, a tearful Janelle admitted that "it would be very heartbreaking for me to see them not participate in something that's brought me a lot of joy."

The family drama continues on "Sister Wives," Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
