Snooki On Breastfeeding: Jersey Shore Star Tells 'Good Morning America' She's Afraid To Nurse

How SnookiFeels About Breastfeeding

Mom-to-be, Snooki, appeared on "Good Morning America" and talked about all things pregnancy, including what she's given up (partying) and what she's embracing (her newfound "paleness"). She also admitted to a few fears about mommyhood, one of which made us listen up. The reality star admits that she is scared to breastfeed.

Snooki says she knows breast milk provides the best nutrients for babies, but told GMA's Juju Chang, "it just looks so painful." Instead, she plans to pump. Chang accompanied the "Jersey Shore" star on a trip to browse baby products and actually looked at breast pumps together.

"It's kind of like you're a cow, and you just milk it?" the 24-year-old asked. Chang, who has three children of her own, said she used one, and told Snooki that while it does hurt initially, the routine gets easier.

Interestingly, Snooki's attitude towards nursing is not so different from that of other new moms -- a recent study found that only 32 percent of women reach their nursing goals even though they know breast is best.

And as for that infamous "TIME" cover, "that freaks me out," Snooki said of breastfeeding a toddler. "Just drink regular milk."

Snooki is hardly the first celebrity to go public with her breastfeeding views. Below, the 21 Most Memorable Nursing Moments In Hollywood.
