Bill O'Reilly, Juan Williams Clash Over Obama's 'Private Sector' Remark (VIDEO)

WATCH: O'Reilly, Williams' Heated Clash

Fox News' Bill O'Reilly and Juan Williams clashed with one another during a discussion on President Obama's remark that the private sector was doing "just fine."

During the president's press conference last week, Obama said that the private sector was doing "just fine," and that he saw weaknesses in the American economy in issues that had to do with state and local government. Republicans, including GOP nominee Mitt Romney, harped on the president's "doing fine" statement, criticizing Obama for being out of touch with the economic challenges facing Americans today.

On his Fox News show Monday night, O'Reilly charged that Obama kept "feeding into" the criticism that he doesn't understand the private sector or economy. "Does he not?" O'Reilly asked Williams.

"Not at all," Williams shot back. "I'm a little puzzled by this one because what the president said is exactly right. He didn't say the economy is doing fine. He said the private sector is doing fine. And the private sector is doing fine!"

"But they're not hiring!" O'Reilly said. "That's a different issue," Williams responded. "They are making a choice not to hire people."

"Wait a minute, Juan. Doesn't the private sector include working people? Aren't they in the private sector? Are they doing fine?" O'Reilly pressed.

"No, again that's a different issue!" Williams fired back.
