Will Allen, a Huffington Post gamechanger, ex-NBA player and the CEO of Growing Power, a group that advocates urban farming, appeared on "The Colbert Report" on Tuesday to promote his new book "The Good Food Revolution."
Even Stephen Colbert didn't have much to criticize about the work that Allen does, but they did have a nice chat about pesky goats that eat your clothes, and how kohlrabi is most definitely a hard sell when it comes to getting people interested in farming. Colbert did take a swipe at some of the cities working on urban farming initiatives, though. "Vancouver and San Francisco, they're just going to be growing weed," he says.
