Lena Dunham Admits She Wrote A Body-Swapping Fantasy Play About Jimmy Fallon On 'Late Night' (VIDEO)

Lena Dunham Confronts Her High School Crush Jimmy Fallon

Lena Dunham has been incredibly vulnerable and open about herself in her writing and acting on her HBO show "Girls." So it shouldn't have come as a surprise that she put it all out there during her appearance on "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC).

Dunham admitted to Jimmy Fallon that he was her celebrity crush. That's the relationship now. Apparently, it was a near-obsession back in high school. Dunham told Fallon that she'd written a play in high school in which she and Fallon switched bodies and then ultimately fell in love.

"I was like, 'Oh my God! When I wake up and touch myself, I'm touching Jimmy Fallon!'" she said.

The funny thing is that with her newfound fame, that's a movie that could well get made. Or at least it could perhaps become a series of shorts on "Late Night."

Watch Lena Dunham in the first season finale of "Girls," this Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on HBO. Jimmy Fallon and "Late Night" air weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
