'Auction Kings': How Much For A Giant Fruit Bat Skeleton?

On "Auction Kings" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on Discovery) Thursday night a customer brought in the skeleton of a giant fruit bat.

Some species of fruit bats are the world's largest, with wingspans measuring up to seven feet long. The expert appraiser told Paul Brown that he hadn't seen many skeletons that were as big as this one.

So, how much for a giant fruit bat skeleton (with bits of tissue and meat still attached)? It sold for $450 to a man who said he planned to display it in his entertainment room.

The treasure-hunting continues on "Auction Kings," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Discovery.
