'Burn Notice' Premiere: After Fiona Turns Herself In, Michael Makes It His Mission To Save Her (VIDEO)

'Burn Notice': Michael's Mission Is To Save Fiona

"Burn Notice" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on USA) took a decidedly darker turn with its Season 6 premiere, and it looks like it may well stay that way for awhile. Michael was doing his best tough guy voice -- think Christian Bale's Batman or Adam Baldwin on "Chuck" -- when vowing to clear Fiona's name.

She's been arrested and processed by the FBI for that British Embassy bombing, but everyone knows she didn't do it -- except for the people processing and incarcerating her. So this gives Michael a very clear focus and mission for at least these first few episodes.

There is some good news, though. While Anson managed to once again squirrel away into the night, at least this time Pearce now understands that he's a bad dude that needs to be taken care of. Taking down Anson and clearing Fiona's name before she's convicted and maybe executed should give the show some focus for much, if not all, of this season.

Watch Michael get angry on "Burn Notice," Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
